CATEGORY ONE: ARABIC LANGUAGE

A) Essay writing

Participants will be required to write a 350-400-word essay in Arabic about one of the following topics: a) My family, b) My hobbies, c) A day at school d) My daily routine e) A story I like

B) Conversational Arabic (speech)

Participants will be required to deliver a four to five-minute speech in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) on one of the following topics:
a) My family, b) My hobbies, c) A day at school, d) My daily routine, e) A story I like

CATEGORY TWO: THE HOLY QUR’AN

The participants will be required to choose one of the following topics and write an essay. The essay should consist of 650-700 words. The essay should be written in English.

TOPICS

A. Scientific facts based on the Holy Quran (such as astronomy, embryology, nature, etc.)
B. The importance of seeking knowledge in Islam
C. How the Quranic principles promote the concepts of peace and harmony
