ASTANA – Africa and Central Asia emerged as the top destinations for Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) investments, attracting $39 billion and $25 billion, respectively, in the first half of 2025, according to a joint research report by Australia-based Griffith University and the Beijing-based Green Finance and Development Center.
